Perry England Poems

The frost came early in the chill of night
With the breath of morning all was white
Spawning another day, another battle to fight.
Would this one be better and everything all right,

Whispering winds whisper softly to me.
Do not pine as you call from the tree,
Whisper only kindness to me somehow.
For some, life's so vacant and dreary.
...

The many marvels of the Sea I love
As do her creatures and those above
Who find solace by swooping down for closer looks.
Of the mystical lady, authors have written books.
...

What would life be without love?
Like a dark day without light from above,
Like a faded and withered rose,
Or as a dry brook that no longer flows. Without Love the night would be bleak and long.

Life's Plan

The frost came early in the chill of night
With the breath of morning all was white
Spawning another day, another battle to fight.
Would this one be better and everything all right,
A day of pain, quietude, of a day of flight?
God fills each moment with His wonderful Grace
For each of His beloved children the day to face,
To fill a niche with diamonds of dew, each in place
That the void in the mystical universe is not empty space,
But an intricate and fascinating pattern for all to face.
