Christmas Morning

I wake up,6: 45 a.m.
Hoping he came with what I asked for
Waiting to for my sister to get up
Waiting for her to wake my parents
Finally
She takes me to see what he brought
Eyes light up in wonder
Gifts wrapped in fancy paper
First tear to see what’s underneath
Toy of my dreams
R2-D2
My childhood was complete
Next ripping away at the nice paper
Then another
And another
Sitting in amazement at what I got
Wondering how he know what I wanted
Waiting to see what I get next year
