Paul Fisher Poems

Before the Yetis attacked
Looking for razors to shave their backs
There was the lone space ranger;
Who took some LSD
...

Twisting and turning
There is no turning back
The rips you apart from within
I feed on what you lack
...

I feel nothing, anymore
When I look into your eyes
I see nothing, anymore
Can I take your soul away?
...

Is it love…
When the syringe enters your skin
Kiss the dirty needle
...

Every time I rise up
You are there to pull me back down
Shackle me there
Like an animal
...

I don’t need this
I don’t need you
Religious Hypocrites
Political bullshit
...

I’ve always wondered…I’ve always…I’ve always wondered how it feels to be loved. What’s it like, to be in the crowd
Gods of control, gonna lose control
What is the feeling, I don’t know I’ve lost my heart…some where on the way
I am nothing, a vapor in god’s bucket
...

As the air gets thinner
And the colors fade out
Will you take my hand?
So we can all figure it out
...

Never wanted this
Never wanted you
Never wanted anyone
Can’t stop my mind
...

Will you take your knife, to my throat?
All my humble blood is gone
So carve me from this meat coat
...

Will you know the dead by then?
Sitting in serenity’s orchard of fraud
Looking for letters unwritten, lost, and never sent
...

Peace is a long, narrow, winding road
Contorting, it’s never the same
No lasting frame
Pick the flowers while you can
...

I am the music
Forced down upon, beyond
This material plane.
This is the storage shed.
...

Is this it
Am I the one?
They’ve been waiting for
The death of drought,
...

Oh what a horrible sight
That fat lady
On the summer day
Hot as could be
...

They sat and laughed
As Oprah yelled
I wanna be fat
Maybe she meant
...

Oprah said
I wanna be fat
As she ate the poor child
Swallowed ‘im whole
...

One day walking down the street
Found a pistol on the ground
Looked a little fun
Better than the work undone
...

The man writes with surprise
Born of another man whose demise was nigh
Like the old baby bird, decrepit yet wild
Like dreams of the new age of imagination
...

Beg for mercy
And you shall get
A little dirt filled pride
Injection through your dead son
...

Space Alien Attacked Me, Then Tried To Mate With My Weed Eater

Before the Yetis attacked
Looking for razors to shave their backs
There was the lone space ranger;
Who took some LSD
And fell in love with the weed eater
Now they drive a three seater
For the baby on the way
They had to throw the coupe’ away
And that overgrown saucer
Who knows? Maybe the drone washer too
Well what is known is;
The baby doesn’t like it
When mother cuts his hair
