Patrick Nandwa Poems

Of late I have come to learn
All that I needed to discern
That those with beautiful faces
And sexy looks
...

Of beauty and beautiful ones
They walk with their lovely faces
Right into a pack
Of hungry wolves
...

After spending so much time in the cold
I finally found my way back to the fold
For so many times I had heard
That Jesus is the real Shepherd
...

When we met on the street
Amid the sweltering heat
You smiled at me
And I smiled back
...

If I could have my way
It would be my way out
Out of this crummy world
To a world where
...

I have done nothing ill
That goes against humanity’s will
But look at me now
Many decades have passed
...

You have made yourself the world police
To safe guard your Americentric policies
You care nothing about other nations
But instead hold silly notions
...

Yes I have seen the light
And I know what you did last night
It is only that
I choose to remain silent
...

Of late I have come to learn
All that I needed to discern
That those with beautiful faces
And sexy looks
That hold like braces
As if on hooks
Have nothing more to offer
For their insides are empty coffers
Their inner being being worse than litter in the bin.
