The man I love is so divine
...

you were handed it all on a plate
Yet you could not keep a grip
You let it all fall far away
Out of your hands it did slip
...

Jagged, sharp flashes of light, crash, boom
Spears from on high, pronouncements of doom

Eyes rattling deep in their sockets
...

Can you picture the steep and craggy alps?
Lately that has been the sine wave
Of the hated beast driven cycles
That drove me deep into the cave
...

To my dark angel of the night
Always watching over me
Even when you're out of sight
May you always fly free
...

The eyes in the mirror stare back at me
Dead, empty pools with nothing inside
At me they stare. What do they see?
There's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
...

Do you know how to smile
To cover up the pain
Holding back the tears
That threaten like the rain
...

I wonder the halls all alone
Silence echoes with a groan

Bounces off the walls
...

I'm just a nowhere man
Doing whatever I can
To keep myself sane
In the left hand lane
