Nishikanta Acharya Poems

I'm standing on the roof
with a desire to touch the moon
and play with the stars
But, can I do it soon?
...

Sun rises in east
giving evryone brights.
All dreams get perished
when man open his eyes.
...

Man is mortal, and
Everyone knows this
But all do their works
And no one cares.

The Aspiration

I'm standing on the roof
with a desire to touch the moon
and play with the stars
But, can I do it soon?

There is a man on moon
who does trade of dreams
He poured some wonderful on me
to become more than just earthlings.

Moon is so far, stars scattered
so the difficulties to oppose
But none can stop my aspiration
As I suppose!

So I will proceed in my way
telling the hurdles good bye.
