I Close my eyes
listen, silently
to the sweet melodies
as they take me on new adventures

Sitting here peacefully
on my squeaking wooden chairs
gazing out in to the clear star filled night sky
and the endless corn fields
...

They are glowing icy balls
of gas and light
with long sweeping tails
that eloqently sail
...

My newborn nephew
Born with eyes so bright
You fill this world
With such joy and delight
...

Butterfly
fragile, tiny
crawling, fluttering, rests,
fuzzy, light, soft, smooth, colorful
...

Grandpa,
it's me your little girl
all grown up now
and I am missing you so
...

The audience is gone
the applause have stopped
and the instruments are put away
the band is on stage
...

Walk with me...
in the snowy woods
where the trees
notice our passing
...

It's not an image
one may contemplate,
nor a picture-perfect
aspect of your mind,
