That Day

I said I hated you
You disclosed the same

That day
We sat for the last time
Not to keep secrets inside
Anything confined

So we dug a bit more

We shared the ways we cheated
We shared that we cheated

That day
We saw tears in four eyes
Salt was more
Than ever before

That day
We hugged
We thought it was the last time
We ran through the vibes
Never sensed before
That day
We met to depart
To deal with the residues
As a policy matter

We thought of ourselves high
We appreciated
Conveyed gratitude

Finally, we held hands to leave
The flood receded
A moment descended

Our hands refused to loosen

That day
We didn't let the light
To entrap
Into the black hole

That day
We were done

But how come!
We suddenly started all over again.
