I stand beneath with no heart for feeling or despair

I see the world, yet I am blind
I hear the wind, yet trees stand still
I taste the water, yet drink the wine
I feel no pain, yet swallow the pill
...

Born into this world, with a burst of sound
Whimpers, cries, but no memory of how
No soul ever given a choice in the matter
To live life of any sorts, however, I am proud
...

Walking down the way,
Just another autumn day
Watching leaves fall,
As the trees gently sway
