I don't think I'll ever have it in me to admit it but...
After only a day
of you being away
I begin to find myself longing for you
And I constantly wonder if maybe, just maybe, you might feel the same way too?
Or if I'm really just the next best thing to you
I honestly wouldn't be surprised one bit if that's true
That's really why I always end up feeling all down and blue
every time that I happen to be around you
