My Sacrifice
Here I stare at the gun's muzzle;
Cometh my death on this battlefield.
This's death most welcome, death so right;
For what's more edifying than shed blood
For my kinsfolk and the motherland?
Women may sing me no eloquent 'raptures',
The bells won't toll to my mourn
And no minute of silence by my 'tomb';
But in the warmth of my hades
Will I snuggle at my glorious sacrifice!

By all means pray, but also think and work hard because God may want to use your 'head' and hands as the tools to answering your prayer.
