Ode To The River

On a stun. amid grass sat I
Watching the crimson colors fading by
Drawn by the waters,
They, slipping and murmuring as they slid away
To the endless chambers

The birds explode to song
Diving into the air then flying low to the waters
Skiing gleefully
Cheer penetrating through their spread wings
How sweet!

Sitting on that stun
I feel something stirring within
Elusive, irking
It arouses ripples of emotion
From the heart

How fantastic is thy sight
It makes me be short of terms, with which to express
Utterly magical
The kind you can watch for a thousand years
Without fatigue

Sweet sweet river
Thy sweetness is doubly sweet
O river! How I long thee
To watch you until wrinkles appear
Then tucked in the dust
