Morakinyo Temiloluwa Bolarinwa Poems

The wonders of our love be so magical,
when we be different in form, our hearts
do bind us to make us one,
For as time and space may drift us apart,
...

so everyday I live my life,
without regret of living acts,
for everyday I live my life,
I do my best like its my last.
...

In the tempest of the social gust,
aimlessly aiming an arm to grab on,
thrashing and thrashing with tiring thrusts,
the Loner; the skyline beneath the blinding sun.
...

Ota-ilu is back again,
the singular thorn in the sole of many,
the curved wood disturbing the fire,
Ota-ilu the trouble maker.
...

Afasegbejo, the self deceiver,
perpetually perpetuating stupidity,
the one that turns in a widening gyre,
must be confused as to his own reality.
...

Nothing breaks the art of man like wealth,
beautiful damsel, desire of all,
her style is playing hard to get,
before her feet men always fall.

Maybe when I die,
Legacy would be sealed,
Maybe when I die,
The world might be healed,

Throw me a brick,
and I will catch a pellet,
throw me a mountain,
and I will catch a stone,

I've done and should have done,
reminisce and regret,
turn the past around,
see the future past,

Hollow,
tide of the world has swept to me,
washing my thoughts, washing my mind.
This barage of opinion is vexatious,

your assailants be many,
their tactics be crude,

Whether in the rough Kijipa
or rather appareled of blazing red Alaari,

looking,
looking lost with lust in my luscious eyes,

Ruby petals under the golden sun,
The boabab that gets better by the ages,
Rhythm of the flower whistled song.

If the foundation is faulty, what can the righteous do.

wretched of the earth,
product of hunger,
wrenched from all wealth.

Magic Of Love

The wonders of our love be so magical,
when we be different in form, our hearts
do bind us to make us one,
For as time and space may drift us apart,
so shall our souls find each other back.

The wonders of our love be so magical,
our feelings unchanged in rock or rift.
