The Music Just Stops

The radio still plays, though the car upside down
Red showers of blood drenches the ground
Rain drops that are louder than ever Ive heard
My taste is of iron and my vision blurred

The song is a favorite, and through verse number one
I try to get out but my body is numb
As the chorus rings loud and I taste the red rain
A shard of my mirror shows me the flame

The drops are so strong but the music sinks through
I begin to smell gas as they begin their verse two
Fear thrusts me to grab at the heated seat belt
To attempt to release before the metel can melt
I push and I push and pray to be free
But I realize I'm stuck while they finish verse three

The last chorus is faster and races through time
While the heat of the flame I feel grow from behind
I know when it mixes with the gas that I smell
This prison will ignite and this car becomes hell

My only chance is in someone with speed
Who will hear my misfortune and spring to my need
I make out many voices and fall in love with the sound
Until I realize the people are just standing around

The flame is too scary for them to approach
So they leave me to burn, they leave me to roast
THIS SONG IS TOO MUCH AND STILL IT PLAYS ON
I CANT STAND THIS WRETCHED TUNE PLEASE MAKE IT BE GONE

I CARE NOT FOR THE TORTURE, REGARDLESS HOW CRUEL
I CARE NOT FOR THE FLAME ATTACKING THE FUEL
I CARE NOT FOR THE LIGHTING OF GAS IN MY SIGHT
I CARE NOT FOR THE FLAMES THAT GRIP ME SO TIGHT
SILENCE THIS MUSIC AND SILENCE THESE DROPS
Then before the song ends, the music just stops.
