  • POEM: Poverty by Sydney La Roche (10/1/2012 1:09:00 AM)

Nice. well written and not so laborsome to read. I had written on on the homeless about 12 yrs ago and this reminds me of this one. Check it out- Tumbledown Slums

  • POEM: Love Left Behind by Ruby Honeytip (9/30/2012 1:21:00 AM)

I'll be glad to be the first to comment on this. Quite a fun little read. Not so labor-some to get through, unlike so much else on this site. Leaves me questions though what it your intentions were on its meaning. Please share if you have the time.

btw, If you can, i'm trying to promote and get my work out there and known. I'm about to release my latest conceptual novelty and all twelve pieces are here on this site. They each cover 12 different areas in society that have been infiltrated by the powers that be. A few of them are; The Equation, (Big Banking) Orwellian Youth, (The Family Unit) Justis, (Law) and Each and Every Day (Food) .

    To anyone who reads this;

I write what are called 'Conceptual Novelties', which encompasses both collections of my political lyric poetry, but also articles that uncover my research in what is REALLY going on in the world - and who the true Rulers of the World are.

My latest - Holy of Unholier Hellhoods - Goes deeper and farther down the rabbit hole than previous novelties. Anyone here interested in hearing about it can contact me here to find out how you can check it out. It's only about a 20minute read and is promised to change the way you see the world ever again.

From a Jade Terrace (The Fortress Alley)

    A contract made, joint-venture tight
Safe in the glow of the conglomerate light
How strange to choose to smother worth
How strange to choose to end the diverse
    Dupont, Allstate, Apple, Dell
    Fed Ex, GM, Boeing Merrell
    Freddy Mac, Amtrak, diesel, propane
Their corporate leanings, it’s gone insane
That we would choose to smother worth
That we would choose to end the diverse

Paul Volker and Bernstein, princes of power
Mergers served hot but the taste is sour
The alley holds the jade and bones
And a map is at The Georgia Guidestones
The vested, the vermin, the fortress, the careless
Corporate oligarchs up on the terrace
On Fortune 500, the stocks in place
No fear of the dark, or shame or disgrace
That we would choose to smother worth
That we would choose to end the diverse
It's cold in the board room
    The space is too big
    Assets aren’t enough
And the shares are too thick
    They’ll show you no weakness
    They’ll mock you in growth
    Berate and deride you
    Belittle and chide you
Is it anger or envy, profit or dearth
That we would choose to smother worth
That we would choose to end the diverse

Have you found it yet? It's there just half way down, a field called text. It's small but will expand once you write or paste your poem in.

Hope it works. I'll look u up and see what you've written...

    Eli
