trying to stop me from reaching the light
weighing me down with fairy tale words
towards the emptiness and not towards the fullness

Darkness ans Shadows surround us
taking our hope and joy
there's no escape
from the fighting and hurt

We see with our eyes
we talk with our mouths
these are things we can't live without
what will we leave the next generation

I'am 16 years old and i have been writing poems for six years. I love to read and write story's. I collect old fashion drinking bottles. Also collect shot glasses I have a six year old sister, a four year old and a 18 year old brother. there names are Grace, Aaron, and Jacob.)
