Meagan Miller Poems

A secret affair.
A hidden lover.
The thrill of doing the forbidden.
...

Writer's block...
Can't think of a thing to say.

Normally the words flow free.
...

Drip, drip, drip... blood on the floor
Can't stop the blood; it's coming... more and more
I've dropped the blade to get a rag
To mop up the blood that holds my pain
...

4.

How can you treat me this way?
After all I've done for you...
Abuse is terrible,
What can I do?
...

When you left, a part of me left with you
Only to be replaced with a stronger sense.
A sense of strength and security that no one could give me.
In a way, I'm glad you left me be
...

Tears fall from the sky.
The angels are beginning to cry.
They see our love falling apart;
They can see the breaking of my heart.
...

Look at the balloons
Floating upward toward the sky

Look at the balloons
...

If I were to die tomorrow, would you miss me?
If I kissed you, would you, in return, kiss me?

Can you hear me? Are you listening to me?
...

A broken heart, all torn and ripped asunder...
Deep eyes, crying for a lost love...
That is what I saw when I looked into those pools as deep as the sea;
Wishing that the one you loved would someday be me.
...

10.

The sorrow, it's building up.
An emotional volcano, just waiting to erupt.
Not only sorrow fills my soul.
Fear, confusion, and anger have helped create this hole.
...

Draining the life from me.
Sucking all existance from my body.
(You come.... You come)
Beside me you lie,
...

From nowhere you came,
A joy in my life.
I’ll love you forever
And never think twice.
...

A young soul caught in the hands of fate.
It couldn't havce been stopped; it was way too late.
A gun, his best friend
Soon became his untimely end.
...

Crying out for help in the night, she lives.
Lives only to kill others for pleasure.
The pleasure of knowing htta she has a purpose.
The purpose of walking the streets in the witching hour.
...

She dances and waves.
Blows kisses and waves.
She stands beside the sea and waves.
Walks out into the water and waves.
...

Blood pours from the clouds,
Staining all that it touches,
Pooling on the ground.
...

Always to look,
Never to see.

Always to talk,
...

I want be beside you;
You want to be inside me.
I want to be with you;
You want to be within me.
...

Faster, slower.
Forward, backward.
Turn left or right.
You're the light that guides me
...

A dance.
So elegant.
Just one chance
To break my fall.

Meagan Miller Biography

I have a twisted imagination that can sometimes get in the way of the more important things in life than what I believe. I have been in school for eleven and a half years and the poetry began in my fourth year with an assignment that my teacher gave us one day. 'Silence' is about a woman enduring a lot of abuse, both emotional and physical, and she finally gets tired of it and snaps. A few of my poems are originally songs but written in the form of a poem first. Wish me luck and e-mail me your opinion... Oh yeah, if there's anything anyone needs to discuss about life or their problems, I'm here for you because I like helping people in any way I can without making it feel like I'm invading on someone's personal life. I decided to take up poetry as a hobby because I have been told that I have a very unique way of using words to express myself without being totally straight forward about it.)

A Secret Affair

A secret affair.
A hidden lover.
The thrill of doing the forbidden.

You bring this thrill to my life
And help me keep everyone guessing.
You are my secret lover.

The looks. The kisses. The sheer excitement of it all
A roll in the sheets or a long-standing affair-
I know, through it all, you'll be there
