MAXINE P. SOSO Poems

The night we met
is embedded in my mind
you were
everything I needed you to be
...

I've never understood
the true meaning of love
until you came into my life
I now know the feeling
...

Your eyes signifies
every word ever needed
to describe
the look of love
...

I wanted you last night
not only to make love
but, to bask in the ambience
of your presence
...

Children today
have gone astray but, hey
...

I found in you
the everlasting effervescence
totally refreshing
The sinful way your laughter
...

Deep in a corner
In the back of my mind
A vision of you
awaits to be seen
...

A blind person can see
what their heart already know
...

The darker the night
the more I can see
...

It's amazing
how much we're alike
the understanding
we have of one another
...

That final hour in the cell
will be hell
Yeah Well!
The time has come
...

I've kissed your lips
a thousand times in my mind
I can only see
who you appear to be
...

Your eyes comprise
A lullaby
...

When I first saw your face
I wanted to taste...
...

The window to your soul
opens a world of possibilities
that can be explored
through your signature stare
...

Let me gently caress

your grace, space and, intellect
...

A baby's breath,
taken completely out of it's element
...

Restriction, conviction of the heart

so it starts
...

Traumatized, by life's indiscretions
Submerged in stereotypical
...

The silhouette seduction
of your whispers in my ear
A lullaby to my soul
The delectable essence
...

Midnight In Paradise

The night we met
is embedded in my mind
you were
everything I needed you to be
and, more
When you...
laid me down at your feet
And...
kissed me gently
your lips so soft and inviting
took me to a whole new level
than I was used too
When you...
laid down beside me
you enticed me
caressing me entirely
with your effervescence
I melted
And...
my heart fluttered
as gently as
the wings of a dove
I love...
the way you touch me
executing mutual emotions
passionately embracing
a scent of mystery
that glistens in the air
dancing in the wind
When you...
look at me
I tremble inside
realizing that I
had fallen for you hard
so hard
trying to
tell you how I feel
that what I feel for you
is real
the night we met
was like...
Midnight In Paradise
