Red River Gorge

I remember Red River Gorge
The wind whistling as it blows by your ears
The feel of the granite as it rubs up against your fingers
Seeing the natural granite wall standing over you
The excitement of reaching the top after working a route.
The high altitude taking your breath away
Hearing the advice from your be layer as you do the impossible

Every muscle in your body aching
The feeling of free falling then being saved by the lead rope
The wind blowing through your ears, the feeling you get on your way down
Then finally your feet touching the ground,
