At the fault of none other than I,
For my love is not returned at only my own fault
My ignorance and persistence has scared her off
Running away, with a piece of my heart at the strength of her teeth
...

My pulse is racing
My pulse is racing
Heartbeat, heartbeat
Adrenaline never felt so good,
...

When the sun still shined
And the moon still lined dim light on my face
Stars twinkle and lead me to another dead end
Lifeless trees sway as axes strike their bases

At The Fault Of None Other Than I

At the fault of none other than I,
For my love is not returned at only my own fault
My ignorance and persistence has scared her off
Running away, with a piece of my heart at the strength of her teeth
Here long I lay out long, mourning the loss of my heart in which I gratefully gave
For the love in which I greatly crave
I asked for her feelings, I got what I had expected, yet- yet
Yet the bullet still I hadn't dodged
As it sits lodged in my heart and soul
The teachings and fairy tales I have learned are all lies
All the years I lived believing this, there is no good, light or purity from love
Only darkness, fear and pain
I hear cupid's demonic cries of laughter and mockery
After all- after all- after all
After all t'was too much
O' such such a dark- dark day sky so bright
After a kiss which is my world, is just nothing to you
My poems, songs and tales of love
The sacrifices and gifts I gave, all to dig my own grave
The things I felt for you, unlike any aesthetic lust towards any man or woman
All the times I tried and cried in your arms
All the moments we shared
The times I held and kissed your hand,
All those times when you lied besides me and I stoked your hair
Every embrace;
My heart is broke, but my shirt hides my wounds
My face of tears and depression are covered by this mask
After all, you've done after you played me,
After you toyed me destroyed me
Still I feel, still I feel I still love you
I still- love- you
I will always love you
But you'll never love me, and I know
Even if we were together, the guilt of knowing you don't return my love would kill me more than this
Thank you, for stabbing me with the less painful sword
I will continue to wail and moan in pain, but thank you
My love, I am sorry, I should know I don't deserve you, I never did
