I want to read you
like the weather
changing figures
in your clouds
and the shadows that they cast
so tempest your storm
and I will fall the rains story
upon the outside of your window
crash the lightening
burn down the forest
rock the thunder
like God shaking rafters
into Beautiful Raptures
while listening to the Beatles

Rainbows remember their home best
when hanging over your hill
promises to keep
floods far away
but you may disagree
so flood me if you feel the need
rush me down a river
and turn me into an ocean

are you a hundred degree day
and want cool winds
to curl your hair like mountains
curl winter streams into waterfalls
or are you 32 degree winter
and want to make angels
Jangle dance in the snow
six eight slow pace
soft grace
frozen caught on the tip of your tongue

we could tear down
the tip of your tongue
each frozen breath
and watch birds
put their footprints
in the snow
