The Dream

The wind was a torrent of darkness
And the stars like a ribbon of a bright light
Through terrace of a shady house
Which shrilled deep in the woods
A drizzle of dew from the fog smoke white
An open window to which the night pressed tight
Which opened a view to the wide black sky
Like the partner of the orange sun
Stood the moon which seemed so fun
It all was beautiful as if in a dream land
Also like my trip to Scotland
From the deep sky a figure which ran
came a visitor turning like a fan
A strange object which I’d never seen before
It looked as if it was a rock
I went down to check on my stock
Which had my collections from my early twenties
I took my telescope to check it in out
Which I’d received when I was a scout
The asteroid! the ateroid! I shouted in glee
For which I had tarried for way a long time
But then something happened which I have to say
Round and round turned the world
The whole night was mixing up
Then a noise only heard
A zebra knitting
On an armchair sitting
It all felt like an illusion
And then a journey through a black hole
I woke up with a thud
It was all a dream
