Not to impress anyone
but to soothe your aching self.
Write like you cry
Cry so hard that the last drop
of sadness is flushed out of the veins.
Write as if you are a bird
A wingless one, but
never ceases to sing.
Write like uttering a prayer
A prayer from the heart
Of an untainted being.
Write to talk to your conscience
To reveal the deepest secrets it holds
Write like you walk in the seashore
Barefoot and soaked in the moonlight.
Write to be the best in you
To be the truth in you
To acknowledge the dark side of you.
Simply write and write
to be you and only you.
Write, No matter whether
you are a tiny speck of dust
in the universe
or god of all worlds.

into sheer innocence.

Write to move beyond the shallow waters
And to dive deep into what life offers
