Once In A Blue Moon.....

Once in a blue moon, luck passes by
Without me knowing, it goes by my side
And though it cries out, I don't realize
But when it's gone, I long for it every night.

I walk in the dark for my heart is blind
And I long for the light of love and life
But my longing is like a spark in the wind
For with every wish comes a great blow from a wind.

My life is like a stem of thorns
But I'm really sure there's a rose at the end
Cause deep, deep down there's still a glow
And a bit of warmth to keep me going on.

And so on and on I keep on hoping
that once in a blue moon
luck would pass by again.
