as i lay in bed, with my pillow propped under my head
i did as most others would do
i started to fantasize with you.

dear lord! you know that i don't often pray.
but! i have so much to say.
i thank you for all that you have done for me.
that you have set my heart free.

Thru hardened eyes I saw them take you out the front door
Thru hardened eyes the abuse would be no more.
No longer will you use me as a punching bag because I fought
