There is a true and loyal comrade
And "Woman" is her name,
She's with her man through thick and thin
Gives all her strength - so he might win
...

No fortune in life
Is greater in worth
Than to have still a loved one
Around on this earth.
...

All possible hate that we should never bear
A cry for help that we hear, but won't hear,
The greed to have it all, the obsession to win
For greed's sake not pride, yes, that is a sin.

Comrade Woman

There is a true and loyal comrade
And "Woman" is her name,
She's with her man through thick and thin
Gives all her strength - so he might win
And she's not out for fame.

If there are clouds, if there is storm
She'll try to be his sun,
She'd never think to let him down
And smoothes with gentle hand his frown
Till blues are on the run.

She stands beside him day and night
To reinforce his strength
And helps him always where she can
For after all, he's just a man
Her patience has great length.

Citations she will never have
A crown she shall not wear,
If she gets now and then a rose
This comrade fast forgets all woes
And always will be near.
