Darkness Of A Day

All day and night
fulfilled with fright
sitting in my room
just not as a blume

All day and night
not as bright
fighting myself as a knight
my hands they feel so light


Night but still not as fine
but also without a shine
looking with a twitch
standing as I itch

finally came the darkest time of the day
but not always as they say
bringing me down like a horse looking down at its hay
making my way out to the day

waiting for day to come
like stepping on chewing gum
and being stuck for a while
making my way as I compile
