1.

I miss you every single day
I miss your laughter, such a sweet sound
I miss the way we used to laugh and play
but now my tears fall to the silent ground
...

This old mug's been around awhile
Been chipped and cracked and shattered
been called old and outta style
been beaten, bruised and battered
...

From as far back as I can recollect
I have never meshed with any other
I've tried to fit in but I can't quite connect
Not even with my mother or brother
...

Flaxen haired angel, son of mine.
You scatter the clouds and bring sunshine.

Through it all your heart stayed true.
...

My dear sweet prince
hear your mother's plight!

How she lost her heart

Alone

I miss you every single day
I miss your laughter, such a sweet sound
I miss the way we used to laugh and play
but now my tears fall to the silent ground

My heart aches to see you again
I miss our walks on summers eves
To see you smile would lift my chin,
I miss when we would collect the autumn leaves

my tears fall on dry desert sands
no trees here to shade my path
no more do I get to hold your hands,
but at least you let go your wrath

To hold you in my arms again I plea
My aching heart yearns for such a chance
I wish someday, that you I will see
that my eyes may light upon you, if even for a glance

I have a hole in my heart that none but you can fill
The fault is mine and I must reap what I have sown
I should have fought for you, but I had lost my will
So now I shall spend my life alone.
