Stuck in the heat of a summer day
In the middle of a long summer walk
Heated by a golden sunshine ray
We will go there if we may
To the cool pool at the end of the block
Stuck in the heat of a summer day
Families host picnics down by the bay
We don't wear one shoe or sock

On blankets and grass we will lay
Sipping lemonade-the cups are on that rock-
