The shadows are following me.
Every corner I turn,
They are lingering behind.
I can't escape them.

Time passes
And things change
I just can't keep up
Even when I try to write

I watch the street crumble;
Concrete cracking all around.
Craters so big...

This paper and pen aren't working for ventilation anymore.
There's too much going on in my head
To write out in a way that makes sense.
Lately it's been building up more

There's nothing original about me
Except the way I managed to merge everyone and everything I see together
Molding it all like Play-Doh
To create me
...

Pick your poison
One is sweeter than the other,
But does that make the affect any different
...

Letting go is hard to do.
The hardship of letting go of someone so near and dear,
Is something that must be done by everyone; he, she, me and you.
