The girl froze in her tracks
A wolf standing before her
Glaring with its deep golden eyes
She glared right back
...

My mother is like the sun
Warm and loving
My mother is like a lion
Brave and courageous
...

Anger is a virus
Slowly killing the person you are
Ripping all the compassion in you to ash
Making your heart heavy with hate
...

Its growl echoed across the night sky
The clap of thunder
Lightning crackling like electricity
Rain crashing down on everything insight
...

Fire is wild and carefree
Crackling spontaneously
The relaxed look of the flames
As they dance in every direction

Never Back Down

The girl froze in her tracks
A wolf standing before her
Glaring with its deep golden eyes
She glared right back
The wolf circled her baring its dagger like teeth
But the girl didn’t let that scare her
She got angry at the wolf
Angry that it thought it could frighten her
So angry she could spit fire
The wolf growling furiously
She picked up a stick and swung it before the wolf
Jumping back with a look of surprise the wolf took a step back
The girl swung again this time closer
The wolf seeing her fearlessness slowly retreated
The girl proud of herself for not backing down ran home
With a smile that was a mile wide
