1.

When all seems lost, who do I turn to?
When I’ve lost my way, what do I do?
Two faces, both ingrained in my mind, never able to forget
You’re always behind me, your shadow my silhouette
...

Déjà vu
Déjà vu
Is standing here with you
Drenched in moonlight
...

You would think I would learn
But I never do, maybe that should be of concern
You would think I would realize
That if I keep after you, this feeling I feel will be my demise
...

Little jailbird trying to fly
Taking one day at a time, just trying to get by
Held back by the chains that surrounds you
You cry out for help too
...

It all happened so fast that I did not see
But all along, I guess, it was meant to be
You had to leave me behind, and all the while, I’m screaming your name
Tears streak my face as I realize things will never be the same

Torn

When all seems lost, who do I turn to?
When I’ve lost my way, what do I do?
Two faces, both ingrained in my mind, never able to forget
You’re always behind me, your shadow my silhouette
I’m torn
And with every waking dawn
I’m thrust into oblivion as I try to figure out what is being said, what is being heard
Nothing has ever made me feel this way, it has to be absurd
And yet I’m still torn, unable to repair
As I’m floating on air
Unable to ignore, unable to forget
And none of it I regret
I’m torn
