Lashae Bell

Lashae Bell Poems

If I scream any louder do you think you could hear?
If I beg any harder, would you acknowledge my tears?
I hate you, I love you
You repulse me, I need you
...

Amoungst the tranquil of nature
I find the admorations of my soul
Burning vigorously and lifting my demeanor
The warmth runs through my vains
...

Living on borrowed time
Searching, awaiting, looking for a sign
Haunted by these emotions inside
Nowhere to go, nowhere to hide
...

Music embraces me
Poetry frees me
Love enables me
Nature inspires me

If I scream any louder do you think you could hear?
If I beg any harder, would you acknowledge my tears?
I hate you, I love you
You repulse me, I need you
Sick, twisted, and beautiful too
Do you have any idea what you've put me through?
Still, my heart returns to you
Showing no mercy you do it again
I play the fool by letting you back in
You kept me so warm, you left me so cold
You take my heart, I think you took my soul
I chase your ghost all around this town
I could be free but I choose to be bound
And you are nowhere to even be found
You complete me, I'm lonely, you take it all
You build me up, do you enjoy watching me fall?
I don't ever want to see you again, why won't you just call?
You bring out the angel, you awaken in me the devil
I am strong and unbreakable, you make me fragile
I contradict all of the emotions inside
You sure took me for a hell of a ride
