Bruised Child

It was really cozy in there
I received all attentions dear
Even when I wasn't the cause
It cost a lot to keep me on course

I cancelled my departure raid
Since everything came to me on time
But I remembered my comrades
Who had sent signals of pleasant time

I didn't land on the expected weekend
I knew I was at the weak end
I could rarely get signals
Signals now existed only in annals

My comrades usually climbed my wall
From there I got good signals
But it seems the wall collapsed 'tall'
I could only get weak signals

I landed on my own weekend
I allowed time to take its time
I have now to stand tall
I saw my comrades at the feet of my wall

At best they were a pendulum in her hands
At worst they were wheeled through the robots on the streets
Ah! She gave me a hand only to place me in the cot
I wanted to go back to that cozy court

Alas! The warmth giver has changed trade
Manufacturing heat is her new trade
When and how did she and he get here?
How will I flourish without touch here?
I have no driving license
But when we take a walk, I obey road signs
She didn't lessen my stress when I made a bus descent
Not even he gave hand signs

I eavesdrop into a conversation
They said we have been abused
Everyone is afraid of this contamination
Now we are completely bruised

But I have found a new solace
Right here, everything reface
I get big arms return to lift
And big smiles that shift

Wow! I think this is Deja vu
I wondered if I am being fooled
Everything tries to be full
My 'shortness' receives a stool

To you who is the source
And you who manage the resource
To you who ditched out the care
Surely! I get the dare.
