Keiren Ward Poems

I’m like a bird with no legs
A bike less stunt pegs
Wings spread out wide
Over the blue sea side
...

You’re up boy
He picks up his guitar
Finds his confidence
Draws himself in
...

The unfortunate old man
He had fortune and he had life
It was a life without heart
Although it was a heart strongly beating

Wings, Invincibility And Angels

I’m like a bird with no legs
A bike less stunt pegs
Wings spread out wide
Over the blue sea side
Reaching one end of the coast
To the life guards’ flag post
I can never land
Never be hand-in-hand
I’ll fly this lonely migration
Missing infatuation
Gliding from nation to nation
In this isolated situation

My wings will never tire
They may burn, but so does my desire
Like two spinning, smoking tires
But my aim is to inspire
To show anything is possible
Nothing is improbable
You could end up in hospital
Or be invincible

Like Clark Kent
He never got a pay check
For saving everyone’s neck
But he was treated like a skaters’ deck
Mistreated, taken advantage of and used till the last breath
Ironic the misfortune
That can be placed upon one whom
Has the potential of satin -wood
Capable of reaching seventy foot
But keep in mind, satin could
Wound that wood
But it would smell sweet
I guess that’s the smell of an angels defeat
Hope to God someone will carry on in his feet.

Wings, Invincibility and Angels
Where’s the difference but in the label?
They are part of one another
United they’re a saviour, a cool breeze in summer
Separate they’re useless, lightning without thunder
They call our planet ‘The World’
But when it’s unfurled
You see the countries
Separated by boarders, patrolled by sentries
The world should be united and uniting
Like the family that’s so inviting
But no, it’s plagued by selfishness and fighting
The world, the universe
Means united, shared, loved and appreciated in just a single verse
But what is means and what it is are two different things
People don’t treat the Earth like fragile wings
They will defend their area till the death, like how a bee stings
Why be so selfish and offensive?
When the world is so sensitive
It feels the aggression, the obsession and the depression of its people
When all it wants is the freedom, happiness and protection of its people
Cause the world is not ours
We do not own its trees or flowers
We do not control how many hours
Of sunlight or moonshine
As far as the worlds concerned ‘all lives are mine’
All things live are intertwined
With each other, but the balance is fine
Like needles thread
Strong when used correct
But if not it is easily wrecked
