Kay Allen Poems

here I am
singing into my bedpost
though no one hears me
if only I existed enough
...

2.

I feel it
I feel it everytime I think of you
I know that it's over
but
...

Lonely soul
dripping salty liquids
through her eyes
bowing her head in shame
...

Trains rush past
as we gaze into each other's eyes
not a word is spoken
but
...

he is my rock
he gives me the strength
to wake up
as I try to figure out how
...

My mind is full

my mind of full of you
you rule my head
...

7.

it seems as though it will never get any easier
drops of mountain dew on my hand
makes things seem real
I know
...

8.

It is pointless
I see
to keep trying
living a life that doesn't want me
...

It wasn't difficult to love you
my heart was yours to keep
you made me shiver
my feelings for you were deep
...

sensualidad
su voz exuda sensualidad
asume el control mi cuerpo y alma
siempre que usted me hable
...

your touch..... significant
light
as a feather
sending chills down my spine
...

filled with pain
I watch the rain
as it falls down on me
here I go again
...

The Best Poem Of Kay Allen

A Little Of Everything

here I am
singing into my bedpost
though no one hears me
if only I existed enough
for someone to care
I am
searching for myself
alone in the world
the one with the motted black
eyes
caked with tears
I am broken
as the fall leaves on the forgotten road
of my life
living on the edge of shadows
of my being
I am alone

here I am
born in the wrong time, age,
maybe before it was okay
to overlook those who suffer
through
neverending life battles
maybe through you I will find me
though
you are not here with me
whoever you may be

here I am
watching the rain fall and my life fall
with it
happiness, I think I just found it
in the middle of
everything
in the middle of the chaos
sailing across the ocean
in my mind
waking up in New Orleans, the big easy city
'you need to let the music set you free'
my jaz cat
says to me
no one would ever guess I am a poet within
but I am
letting the poetry flow
showing me a good time
within myself

here I am
here I am
no one misjudging me
as the tears fall
flowing creek, color of grey sky
upon me
bring on the jazz
I am ready
I am ready
still holding secrets you dont know about
holding my friends tight
myself tight
I am my only friend
because I can never love that vampire within you
whoever you are
because I am forever alone...

I am here
