Together, we rushed to that white building quick,
Just for that friend, who was sick.
No bank with blood, freezing in,
Or Any donor around, to squeeze in.
And the time kept ticking,
But with nothing, left for picking.

Instead of stressing with a blood letter,
Donate, to impress her better.
For those at the most needed hour, you reach,
500 calories burnt for each.
Something which money can't buy,
Gives a lifetime chance to fly high.
Leave behind the myths, smart
‘Coz its a wonderful day to start!

Before those mosquitoes thirst,
Put those in need, first.
Don't you worry, about the excuses,
To get back, just 2 days it uses.
That great pleasure out of your arm,
Will give them, all the charm.

With the red cells, you donate,
You make that child with cancer, your mate.
You need not be a Doctor,
To save her daughter.
