Kanwaljit Bhullar Poems

These days your memory befalls on me considerably
Last night sitting on the roof
as I was gazing the moon
unawares
...

O Life..Please come in
why you stand still
on the doorsteps
of my breaths
...

Request for Investigation

Come on! ! !
Investigate and get us informed
...

Today is my birthday
Your presence to celebrate is not necessary
but is mandatory
as your presence will make me happy
...

Now-a-days for living
Not only breathing is enough
A pleasant environment is also required to breathe! !
...

He entered my abode with a face of dread,
Folded hands, feigned confidence, words tremblingly said:
'They approach, fear in their wake! '
...

With love,
he beckoned me
into the depths of his eyes,
and tenderly whispered:
...

Should doubts encircle us like shadows,
questioning our impact, deeming us small,
too inconsequential to wield influence,
we must confront this skepticism head-on.
...

In the heart of toil, on brick-kiln's dusty floor,
A mother's labor bore a gift, a child to adore.
Amidst the heat, her body strained and swayed,
Yet her spirit held strong, as a new life was made.
...

With love
she invited me
in her eyes
and simply said:
...

I enjoyed my life
a lot
since my birth
death was not a horror for me
...

After getting tensed
due to watching the world news
bomb blasts, killings, terror attacks, etc.
Surprisingly
...

His eyes were full of dreams
And dreams were fully loaded with love
That's why he is sad! !
...

What shall I tell about friends…? ? ?
They visit like death and torture like a life! ! !
Even though they share some moments of fun
But I feel them saying while they exit:
...

Now and then
For a long time
I keep staring the pathways
on which
...

Nothing to worry about me
While awakened I enjoy my fake life
And really dies in my dreams
While sleeping! !
...

If we are suffering from a doubt
that according to status
we are too minor
who can not impress anyone
...

Last night
I was awoke the whole night
Missed you a lot
Remembered old days
...

Age Has No Age

These days your memory befalls on me considerably
Last night sitting on the roof
as I was gazing the moon
unawares
your voice ringed in my ears -
"Show me the old woman spinning wheel
in the moon"

Believe me!
Forgetting my old age, I,
literally, in the moon,
begun to look for her.
Aha!
