I'M Sorry For Writing This

'Sorry's litter the floor
Spread across the ground
In patterns of apologetic regret
For making mistakes
For being boring
Or hyper
Sympathy may exist
But its yet to be found
Buried beneath the misplaced apologies
For acting out
Or being easily forgotten
They could build monuments
With the amount of 'sorry's I've blurted out
Simply for being human
Or maybe
Just for being alive
