Joyce Rwambali Poems

It glowed from the distance
Like blitzkrieg it would disappear;
In the day it walked by me
Beside my shadow it lingered.
...

They reached out all over me,
Covering my whole body
They created a lovely texture,
That he captured with his eyes.
...

The black nation is dying
Everyone has dispersed
The sun has descended
Fear has covered the black nation
...

He fixed his eyes on the screen
He wouldn't eat, he wouldn't move
He just played the game
He never flinched nor hears a word I say
...

How I love thee
I love you as plentiful as the embrace of the suns beams of light that are full of warmth
I love you like chocolates divine taste so mouth watering, yet so satisfying
I love you more than my love for beautiful roses that grow once every spring break
...

Though far away, your fingers still stay locked in between mine;
On the palm of my hand, i hold you tight, keeping your last embrace;
Though goodbyes may be sad, memories are there to comfort you;
On the palm of my hand, your hand rests there too;
...

When you look carefully you'll see me.
There, i'll be having a cup of tea
Waiting until you miss me,
Then i'll come buzzing at you like a bee
...

Just like physics and maths go,
Just like soup and veges mixed,
Just like cornflakes added with milk;
That's just the way you and I complete the equation
...

One side of me was darkness

One side of me was light
...

After all destruction on earth
Minds equal and change for the better
After all the pain and sorrows,
Feelings become one and are balanced
...

To the fair breeze of the wind;
To the sweet talks, prolonged;
To the dark sky that frowned;
And to the darts that were sharply pined.
...

As my soul reaches out,
It sends a clear message.
There deep inside of me,
My soul is bleeding for you.
...

The deep cries heard for all loved ones,
As we mourn for love and life already gone,
Our eyes, open up a pool of tears that tumble down our cheeks.
The deep cry takes down all emotions and shows our true colors.
...

The sadness engulfed me,
At each angle it gave in.
The tears in my eyes became a puddle,
As big as a hippos mouth and
...

You were in deep blue sea,
where the fleet of dolphins swim,
where the shafts of sunlight touch,
where the mermaids dance and sing;
...

A lonely dark night, no barking is heard.
A clear sky and no humming of birds,
Not even a single dropp of water or lead,
Not even chopped beef in the butcher.
...

It may seem as though segregated,
Detatched from the one thee loves so,
Thee's aphrodite so far, yet near by heart
...

At an open breeze,
At first sight the lovers meet.
Of the beauty of the night,
One cannot compare, to their first encounter

The Best Poem Of Joyce Rwambali

An Angel

It glowed from the distance
Like blitzkrieg it would disappear;
In the day it walked by me
Beside my shadow it lingered.
It was an Angel sent from Above.

It held my hand
Like a baby's soft palm and so was Its touch
In the night it would guard me.
It whispers to me gently: 'hush hush'
It, was an angel, my angel.

It shone in the dark
Like a star it positioned itself in the sky
In my mind, it gave me right choices
It was so calm and peaceful,
It was an arch angel

Its wings were so long, light and lovely
Like those of a bird but with less fur.
In the midst it would keep a lookout
It was my guardian being
It was my angel, the only one sent by God.
