Joshua Grosshans Poems
In the field they are soldiers All they do is grow older. Some are white some are black Some are tan but all have your back.
Whispers In The Wind
The Bullets and the Explosions sound far too distant Even though the sounds sound like they’re right here next to me I know they aren’t. All I hear is the low whisper of the people I once knew Shouting up to the sun we are only a few.

In the field they are soldiers
All they do is grow older.
Some are white some are black
Some are tan but all have your back.
All came from different mothers
And yet they are all my brothers.
