I try to look up and give a smile but it's so hard to break free.
My mind is exhausted and my heart feels like it has no beat.

I stand right next to you and hold your hand in mine.
I can feel the life you give and I know that the feeling’s right.
I have never been so in love and have never felt so fine.
I can see you over top of the grey clouds and hear your voice in my mind.

Into the cracks of your mind
I can't understand why you lie
There is no reason for you to cry
I can't see my truth behind your eyes

The increadible pain that we are by,
Is stronger than any though in the mind.
It is stronger than any beat within the heart,
But it's best at times to try.

Lady you are every breath that my lungs need to breathe.
You are every beat that my heart needs to keep the blood flowing.
You are the everything that I need.
You are the only one who can give me hope to have the faith.

Anxious, scared of what you may think.
When at first we meet.
Sweaty palms, nervous as hell.
Will it all go well?

I barely creep through this life on a long journey home.

Dear friend we had our ups and downs in this short time,
And I’m truly glad that we had enough strength to work it out.
Our friendship grew so close and it burned for me to say what I had to say.
