One By One

They came, one by one,
In the boats and in the planes,
They came.
On the beaches and on the cliffs
They came.
Their enemies saw and knew;
Now was the time to kill
They were shot, blown up, and

Climbed the cliffs
And slew their enemies,
One by one.
For the world they died and killed for
The brave men of June 6th,1944
