Jose Maret Poems

Drifting along the waves I feel wash over me,
Not worried to sink or swim as the skies retire
I feel the colours surround me, blue yet green with life
Tears rolling down I smile at the melting redness
...

A random call out of the blue
To say hi and burrow in my head
Expecting a struggle and a fumble
He smiled and giggled as I fought
...

About a man who lived a boy once
When time was in abundance
A search he had every day in turn
A ploy played in turn to never return
...

The swirl had turned in me a picture
Of me, When I stopped seeing me as me
Of me, crushing the fallen leaves
And enjoying the beauty of the crunch
...

You have not lost your bite, anyway.
To be sarcastic is your bread and butter any day.
And to keep going back on this these days
Is keeping you on track in a funny way.
...

Was it the dropp of rain hesitating to let go,
Or the lazy clouds preoccupied to change course?
Was it the mercury reluctant to bend low,
Or the grumpy gale downsized to a gentle breeze?
...

the file lay open for scrutiny
and i could hope for numerous possibilities
to turn up in unision
or as surprising singlets.
...

the way it goes i seem to remember
why i could have pretended to touch
the way i seem to understand
tells me why i could have strained to hear
...

It's the spice of the darkness
Spreading through my veins
I close my eyes to see the light
The warmth spreading into my depths
...

Colours have faded out in the sun
The smile and the giggles forgotten
The leaves look grey and dead
The sky an overcast gloom
...

The fragrance in the wind tells me today
In a giggle and a smile to blow me away
It is you in person I need this day
Strong and hardy, stiff and hot this may.
...

Dim lights, an English autumn evening
Flower power, timeless Scot Glen blend
Crowded corners, comforts cushioned
Enquiring depths, eyes filtering drifts
...

An early afternoon on a cold winter day
Walking a dog on a lead as he did any day
He stopped hesitant for a coffee in a cup
As arranged in reluctance to address the flop
...

Screeching tires and hurrying bikes
And the path that lay asking to be crossed
The lights deny me access as urgency beckons
The dog senses my rush and helps me through
...

As I stop to listen, the music streams to a whisper
And a voice familiar in chance steeps me into a mesmer
A pinch of naivety paired with unexplained persistence
Urgency bordered on reasons sought in consistence
...

The Best Poem Of Jose Maret

The Buoy

Drifting along the waves I feel wash over me,
Not worried to sink or swim as the skies retire
I feel the colours surround me, blue yet green with life
Tears rolling down I smile at the melting redness
Fortunate to be one with Him and Nature
Dissolving, merging into the blue softness
The tender tunes bouncing off every thrust
As I bobbed along, a buoy, searching my way
Worry no longer figures a place in my vision
No strands of uneasy music stream into my heart
As I fly through the moment in spring
Lavender and cinnamon, I feel they are mine
Bringing life to me as I see myself there, content.
