Jonas Hansen Poems

Rolling and strolling down a road, afar and down.
Overture of possibility, grinding the cobblestone to it's roots.
Affection, affliction and addiction, overshadowing.
Dangling on the border of ingenuity.
...

Days of future past, gone, forever more.
Present day dissolved, forever more.
What can, may or should be, away, forever more.
Time itself, at hault, forever more.
...

Our thoughts are endless, boundless and outright magnificent.
A thought of mind and soul bonding on the verge of vigilance.
Crying out for the hex of complaicency whilst dug in asurgence.
Folly it might seem, but truly it brings us closer to divinity.
...

Soaring through a vast air
Lawfully dividend to it's natural flair
Never bent nor spent, floating at it's own expense
No goal, no low nor any disappointment or achievement

A Road Not Taken, Is Another Road Open

Rolling and strolling down a road, afar and down.
Overture of possibility, grinding the cobblestone to it's roots.
Affection, affliction and addiction, overshadowing.
Dangling on the border of ingenuity.

Icarus's wings take hold, groped by the wind.
Scarring a so sought after idea, created long past.

Aggravated and confused, now lurking instead of searching.
Layers dropping and peeling, one self truly lost.
Waving the white flag, flat-lined, before the bright of dawn.
Again the dice rolls, a chance beckons before the end of day.
Yesterday now forgotten, present again takes shape.
Sacrifice payed off, glory days lie in wait.

Obtained the goal, ambition takes hold.
Paralyzingly, the world could be much different.
Ease, a feeling never truly gathered nor appreciated.
Narrow, it was, shallow and crowded it was, but the Road is now truly free
