Things change
Let them be
Our lives will change
Constantly

Friends move
And friends die
As we go on living
Our pathetic lie

Families break
Love like walls
Crumbles and falls
Leaving nothing but misery in its wake

Hearts shatter
Lungs collapse
Souls give in
We collapse from within
as our patience wears thin

Things change

For better or worse
