Cry Wolf

This is the difficulty of the night
When we're left to sleep in the space called darkness
Where the unforgiveness of your past creeps from behind
The void of your mind is filled with sadness
and the midnight wolf cries for your respite
This is the difficulty of the night

I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from
My help comes from the God-above, Maker of heaven and mud

This is the reality of the light
When the sun rises, awakens rudely our heart's twilight
Where the hope you failed confronts you sublime
Its reckless-abandon takes hold of the-uptight
then the wolf howls 'Over is the night'
This is the reality of the light

I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from
My help comes from God-above, Maker of heaven and mud

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord, where the light of the world comes from? To break the darkness of my night, what be the price of his ransom?

'Clean hands and a pure heart, ' his reply; cry wolf, the price— too handsome. So light came down to pay the price, the death of heaven's God Son.

My world today set ablaze 'cuz our Father never abandoned.

I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from
My help is the Father of light, Maker of heaven and breaker of my night.
