Wind

The wind, howling all around me,
Trying to push me every which way.
But I must not let it influence
Me so, I must listen to my soul,
And let it choose the path for me to go.
People are like the wind, trying to
Influence where my feet go. But I must
Pursue what I want, go where I want
To go. Sometimes the wind helps me,
Pushing me along the path, other times
The wind is nowhere to be found.
But it still howls all around me. Just like
People who help me along my path, and
Sometimes are nowhere nearby. But they
Still try to tell me where my feet
Should go.
