Jessie Jett Poems

Sometimes people go their whole life,
looking for that one, special person.
Sometimes they find what they're looking for,
when others come back empty handed.
...

2.

Scratch my skin, scratch it please.
Scratch it so you will make it bleed.
Take my words, throw them down.
Take your words, they're the only sound.
...

To you, my undying love.
Your thought gazes among my eyes.
For your words captivate my insides.
The roll of your tounge dazzles my life.
...

It's the worst,
when you feel unwanted.
Abandoned.
...

I've tried to write this out.
To get it from my head.
It seems right now,
my soul is dead.
...

6.

To all these things,
my words escape.
In this ink,
and to relate.
...

I can't breathe.
My heart feels sick.
With you gone, everything gone.
This pain, like a disease; so toxic.
...

The long solid neck,
With flowing, refinded strings.
A base of cherry; finished wood.
Defined in figure, exquisite;
...

It's too loud.
But there is no sound.
Emptiness creeps up from the ground.
...

He is consistant.
He is persistant.
He is charming.
He is kind.
...

Why does she write?
Does she write to pass the time?
Why does she write?
Does she relieve a tangled mind?
...

Don't cloud me,
like a rainey day shadow.
Over my head,
like a dark cloud it follows.
...

As they loved,
days passed by.
Seasons changed,
along with the time.
...

How do I live,
without the one I love.
My love so gentle and kind.
Living without you
...

I left behind a past of worries.
Many mistakes, and many stories.
I left behind a younger world of fury.
...

Without words,
of a busy mind.
Without words,
to describe.
...

I've been knocked down,
and thrown around.
It was you that turned my smile into a frown!
It was you who put me in that dark place!
...

When you feel it,
and you feel it.
Tugging at your skin.
Puncturing your heart,
...

Wear it.
Wear it out.
Over wear it.
Run it down.
...

20.

I need peace.
Please give it to me.
Shower me like waters.
To cover up my viens.

Jessie Jett Biography

To all these things, My words escape. In this ink, and to relate. In this ink, another dying pen too. Is this how it gets to you? Let it out, or do not part. In this ink, Make a mark. To all these things, there is no start. To where begin, escapes within. All this ink, pours. Letting it out, Till there is no more. -INK (J.J))

Love Is Blind

Sometimes people go their whole life,
looking for that one, special person.
Sometimes they find what they're looking for,
when others come back empty handed.
And sometimes, you will find that the one you've been looking for,
was standing infront of you the whole time.
Sometimes, love is blind.

Years of love,
Many years of friendship.
One kiss was all it took.

I look into your eyes,
and I fall deep in love;
everytime.

Your love,
Your passion,
Your tenderness.

In your heart,
in your eyes
and in your arms;
I feel so safe.

You are like an angel,
Rays of beauty erupts from the sky.
You, like a mountian calls my name;
And I anwser.

I love you like it's set in stone.
I'll love you forever,
and that is all we've known.

No more 'what if's'
No more 'could be's'
Becuase you,
only my eyes see.

Not only knowing,
until you open your eyes.
To a life of happiness
because sometimes,
Love is blind.

Extremely thought-provoking in regard to ink and the obviously essential role which it plays in writing. You make a very good start here.
