Jaycee Wilkerson Poems

You were always there
But when you needed me
I couldn't help you
...

If i could push rewind
I would go back in time
I would make more time
I would say what was on my mind
...

Im strong
But
I still hurt
When Im alone,
...

The world is sleep
But Im up trying to
Figure how to make
Words meet, i write till
...

Im in your ear telling you I want you here
With me to see what i have in stored
The deepness in my voice has you lured
How much more kinkyness can you indoor
...

I have nothing but my memories
I remember the life I had
Now when I think about it I get sad
I want you here bad!
...

Rapping
Is not for me
I would rather slow
The verse down
...

I act like
Your not there
I don't acknowledge you
When you stare
...

9.

Its when you open your eyes
But there is no one in sight
Its when your in a room full
Of people and nothing feels right
...

Seeing things that are not there
Staring darkness in the face bare
Not dreaming so its like living a nightmare
But never to be saved or to wake up
...

The days are shorter
The suns rays are dimer
The wind starts to feel
Closer to winter
...

My name is shy
Please dont as why
Sometimes im sly
...

You lie
I lie
Where is
The loyallty
...

A lot of time
I dont have it
In the begining
I was there a lot
...

Pacing in front of the mirror
Back and forth
It felt like my eyes
Were staring at
...

You were one
Of the few
That was able
To change my life
...

My aim is to please
So sit back and let
Your mind be at ease
Please dont close yours eyes
...

18.

The dangerous streets of North philly
Outsiders would call it North filthy
But growing up in the hood teaches you not to judge
With rough life styles it also teaches you not to budge in situations
...

We eat together we sleep together
We be together We live together
I love you, you love me will we share forever
Your messy I'm immature will we last together
...

Im a mind freak
Feel my thoughts leaks
Soaking solutions
All over the sheets

A Message To My Mom!

You were always there
But when you needed me
I couldn't help you

I wish I could have
Took your pain
I wish I could
Have been your
Suffering substitute

I know you suffered
When you died
A part of me died too

I died because
I was a part of you
I died because
I didnt want
To part from you

I would have given
My life to watch you live
You deserved it

You had
Given soo much
Of your life for
Other people to live

I know this
To be true
Because
I am gracefully breathing
Accepting your gift

A part of me
Has died
But I am still living
Because
A part of you
Carries me on
I love you mom......
